What is a wart?
Warts are small benign skin tumors, infectious or viral by nature.
How can it be recognized?
Two types of warts exist:
- Myrmecia: occurring very frequently, it has a rounded shape and is surrounded by a thick ring of keratosis (thickening of the skin). Its surface is pigmented with black points. It is often very painful.
- Mosaic wart: it corresponds to a set of several warts located under the foot or on the toe. It looks like corn and is painless.
Treatment solutions
- Opt for a foot orthosis
A foot orthosis, without being a treatment, can contribute to relieving the painful area by providing a small hollow that reduces the pressure at the location of the wart.
