HoMedics Therapist Select Personal Percussion Massager

The supplier HoMedics issued a consumer product recall on January 4 for the HoMedics Therapist Select personal percussion massager recalled due to fire and burn risks. It is important that you understand the information mentioned below and take action if necessary.

COVERED PRODUCTS

this recall involves HoMedics Therapist Select massagers with model number HHP-715 or HHP-715-CA. The product is equipped with a 120 VAC, 60 Hz power cord. “HoMedics” is printed on the side of the product body. The products are black in color and feature a handle, a housing, and a massage head attached to the end. The product has four interchangeable massage heads. Massagers may overheat while charging, posing a fire and burn hazard.

Only manufacturing dates before 2022 through the end of 2022 are affected by the recall. The date of manufacture is represented by a date code on a sticker affixed to the underside of the product body. Date codes are a 4-digit number (WWYY) where WW indicates the sequential week of the year and YY represents the last two digits of the year of manufacture. Only products with the code “YY” ending in 21 and 22 are subject to this recall. The UPC of the product is 0031262099662.
